Bad Beaches Only Boating is a women-owned boat charter company in Chicago, created to share our love for water, nature, and unforgettable experiences with our guests.

We began as travel enthusiasts seeking adventurous experiences both on land and water, locally and abroad. Early on, we realized that the beauty of the world seen from a boat is truly unmatched—the sound of the waves, the crispness of the air, the touch of the wind, the warmth of the sun, the beauty of a sunset, and the unique perspectives of nature and cityscapes. These moments are often experiences many may never have in a lifetime.

In 2021, we turned our attention to exploring Chicago from the water. Seeing our city from Lake Michigan and the Chicago River was breathtaking, and we wanted everyone to experience it.

In 2022, Bad Beaches Only Boating was officially born. Today, we specialize in private boat rentals, Chicago yacht charters, sunset cruises, corporate cruises, bachelorette and bachelor boat parties, anniversary celebrations, and more. Pricing

our pricing includes the boat rental, gas, clean up and processing fees.

Captains are directly hired and paid by charterer. captains generally charge about $100 - $150 per hour (non-holiday/special event days).

Captains are not employed by Bad beaches only boating.
